silverfish

The silverfish acquired its name due to the silvery-blue color it possesses as well as the fish-like movements it replicates. Silverfish are soft, wingless insects, which can range in size from ½ to about an inch. Generally these pests remain unseen by homeowners. This is due to their nocturnal lifestyle and their ability to move extremely quickly. Silverfish prefer food with high carbohydrate and protein counts, although they will eat pretty much anything. Among their favorites include glue, book bindings, dandruff, hair, and sugar. These pests have no direct effect of human health except for those who are psychologically disturbed by the sight of them, but if you need silverfish pest control products, Partners has those available in its online store.
